I know how deeply Life Interruptions can shape us. As a child, I went from being the apple of my dad’s eye to feeling insignificant as distance and broken promises replaced the love I once knew. Those early wounds followed me into adulthood, and I searched for belonging in jobs, friendships, and relationships. Losing my son was a heartbreak that shattered the safety I longed to create.

Later, the end of my marriage revealed just how much unhealed rejection had been guiding my life.

Then came the Life Interruption I couldn’t outrun - kidney failure after 30 years of illness. I believed emotional healing would save my kidneys, but instead Katie the Kidney, my donor kidney, saved me. And the healing work I’d been doing transformed far more: my patterns, my wounds, and the parts of myself I had abandoned.
